Nia Zera - About

Hello, my name is Nia Zera. I am a writer, television producer, researcher, and multidisciplinary artist from Munnar. I believe art isn’t just something we hang on walls; it’s something we live. It exists in our everyday lives in the ordinary moments, emotions, and stories that shape us.

I hold a PhD in Film and Media Studies. Over the years, I have had the joy of being part of incredible creations, hosting independent workshops, and collaborating with legendary talents. I research, write, and create across different mediums, exploring the connections between storytelling, memory, identity, and human experience. I have also published a poetry collection, a little milestone that still makes my inner child do a happy dance every time I see it on a shelf.

Whether through art, words, or a bit of organised chaos, I love creating spaces where stories can unfold, art can breathe, and people can simply be themselves. Through art, we are seen, heard, and loved.
